Using Public Transport to and around the The Nook Holiday Cottage, Bourton-on-the-Water

Getting to Bourton-on-the-Water

·         Train:  Bourton-on-the-Water is no longer served by any train service.  However, Great Western trains do run from London (Paddington) to Kingham Station (8 miles distant) and Moreton-in-Marsh (9 miles distant).  See for details of services, times and fares.

·         Link Buses:  all trains at both stations are met by a bus service to Bourton-on-the-Water (I believe!).  This certainly appears to be the case for Moreton – see

·         Coach/Bus Services:  National Express bus company provides a service from London Heathrow airport (for example) to Cirencester, Cheltenham and Gloucester (for example).  A connecting bus can then be caught to Bourton.  The best option appears to be to change in Cirencester.  See enter “Heathrow” as “From” and “Bourton-on-the-Water” as “To”.

·         Taxis:  also operate from and between the various towns around Bourton, including train stations.
